August 18th

Today I tried to get the new engine back onto the frame with my dads help. It did not fit so I had to take the carburetor all the way off and take the metal cover off of the head. Once it was In, we began the most annoying task of the entire project so far. One person had to hold the two hundred pound engine within a millimetre of the perfect position so the bolts would line up. After a couple hours of painstaking work and a few breaks, we managed to get most of the important bolts in. Some of the brackets on the frame didn't line up, but we could just get those cut off and welded on in the correct place later.
