Today I removed and cleaned the gas tank, the seat and some of the other non-performance. I didn't touch the engine or fuel system because the gunk may give clues to the location of a leak if compression is the problem. The man that we got the cycle from advised me to check check the compression first, then the ignition system, then the fuel system.
