Today i replaced the windshield wiper motor and control board in my families truck. After testing the windshield wipers I found out that they only worked in the slow speed. That mean that the motor was working but there as something wrong with the control board that controls the speed. I still had to take out the motor anyway to get the chip out and put in the new one. It was pretty easy. I think that the problem must have been the two metal prongs on the chip that where supposed to push up against the rotating part of the motor, allowing current to go from one to the other.
